The result of a very intuitive and inspired winemaking process, this rosé blends a saignée of gamay with pinot vinified as blanc de noir! The result is a wine with a delicious and appetizing nose of berlingot, rose candy, and spicy strawberry, perfectly in place. The palate is greedy, full, suave and fine, refined, sophisticated even: truly exquisite. We'll drink it throughout the summer...

Technique

Viticulture

Le Grand Clos is a family estate of 7 ha located in the commune of Satigny. The vineyard on the hillside is grassed over and maintained with the utmost rigour. A lot of work is done in the vineyard, which produces little but gives healthy and concentrated fruit. The grapes are harvested when they are fully ripe in terms of alcohol, phenolics and aroma.

Oenology

Dry wine, aged in stainless steel tanks, without malolactic fermentation, grape varieties vinified separately and blended at the time of the creation of the Empreinte. A blend of rosé from the Gamay saignée and white from the Pinot Noir.

Suggestions for accompaniment

Ideal with tuna, salmon fish, Italian cuisine, barbecue, duck tartar, lamb, prawns, mussels a la plancha, Indian, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese cuisine, pies.
