Viticulture

Potazzine is a very traditional family estate that works with respect to its grape variety and terroir and strives to respect the nature and soul of the wines that have made the reputation of this region. This wine comes from young vines of Sangiovese grosso located on Brunello di Montalcino terroirs. Cultivation in cordon de royat. Planting density: 5952 vines/ha.

Oenology

The fermentation is done spontaneously, by the work of indigenous yeasts, macerations of about 20 to 25 days, then the wine is aged in barrels of 10, 30 and 50 hl. for about 6 months. Before being marketed, it is kept in the cellar for 2 to 3 months.
