Silice Rouge 2023 from Maison des Ardoisières takes us straight to the heart of Savoy, with a wine that bursts with energy! On the nose, fresh aromas of raspberry, redcurrant and a little herbaceous touch titillate the senses. On the palate, crisp fruit, with a lovely acidity that gives a sensation of lightness and liveliness. The tannins are fine, just enough to structure the whole without weighing it down. Located in the commune of Cevins, the Domaine des Ardoisières was created in 1999 on a hillside that was cultivated a few decades ago but has since been completely reclaimed by the forest. Once the forest had been cleared, the vines were planted and cultivated from the outset using biodynamic methods. The hillside of Cevins is made up of a glacial lock facing south, with low dry stone walls. Gobelet pruning on a stile. Average yield: 20 hl/ha.
