Trevallon, a mythical wine if ever there was one, needs no introduction! Marked by the vinification of whole grapes, the 2012 delivers archetypal aromas of noble vegetation (peppermint), pepper, graphite, as well as red fruit. The palate is both firm and mellow, long and aromatic; the quality and tactile presence of the tannins are reminiscent of 2010, a benchmark. Rated 16.5/20 Guide Vert RVF 2016; Guide Bettane & Desseauve 2016: 16.5/20
