Nebbiolo forms the basis of legendary Piedmont wines such as Barolo, Barbaresco, Gattinara and Bramaterra. In 2010, the estate launched a modern interpretation of this grape variety, 'Al Posto dei Fiori', a rosé made from over 90% nebbiolo. The result is a unique, gastronomic wine with a surprisingly saline taste and hints of orange syrup. Its ageing potential is astonishing!

Technique
Viticulture
Soil with an acid pH (4.4-4.6) composed of yellow sands and red/orange porfitic sands of volcanic origin.
Oenology
All the grapes are hand-picked only from selected plots. Fermentation takes place in a combination of steel vats (90%) and used barrels (10%).

Aubergine gratin with mozzarella - Strozzapreti with calamaretti and preserved lemon.
