Terroir composed of gravel and clay on the surface. Gravelly hilltops rub shoulders with clay and gravel terraces. The vines, on average forty years old, are planted at a density of 7500 vines/ha. Scratching, ploughing, grassing, meticulous massal selection and rational phytosanitary control are the watchwords of the vineyard manager.
Manual harvest in 20 kg crates. Intra-plot approach to guarantee an optimal level of maturity. Selective sorting at reception on a double table and de-stemming. Vinification 30% whole grape harvest, 70% wooden vats. Aged 30% in new wood.
