Surface area of red production: 48 ha (total surface area: 57 ha). Soil type: Günzian gravel from the Quaternary period, located on the plateau overlooking the village of Martillac. Double Guyot pruning for the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cordon for the Merlot and Petit Verdot. Planting density: 7,200 vines/ha. Average age of the vineyard: 25 years. Traditional cultivation with mechanical soil maintenance. Reasoned protection. Manual green harvesting: de-budding, de-leafing, trimming, thinning.
Oenology
Alcoholic fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats. Aged 16 months in French oak barrels. New barrels: 40%.
