Very dark colour, initial bloody nose, with black berries, tar and malted vanilla pod. Lively and fresh attack, for a structured wine, but with very fine tannins, extracted with finesse. It has the mouthfeel of the greatest Médoc wines, very close to the top Pauillac wines. Magical tannins. And the integration of the new oak ageing is incredible. RVF: 100/100.
