Viticulture
The first mention of a vineyard named Doisy appears in André Jullien's "Topographie des vignobles connus" in 1832. In the 19th century, the property belonged to Jean Jacques Emmanuel Daëne, who gave his name to the estate. Owned by the Dubourdieu family since 1924, it has benefited from the passion of 3 successive generations to become one of the finest Sauternes-Barsac growths.
Oenology
The 16.3 ha vineyard was replanted in the 50s and 60s. It lies on a limestone plateau under a thin layer of clayey sand. The average age of the vines is 40 years. During vinification, the musts are extracted by slow pressing, before fermenting in barrels, where they remain for around 18 months.
